2nd Annual Moonlight 5K and Dolphin Dash at Spessard Holland Golf Course
Race Information
Due to its incredible first year success, we are pleased to invite you to be a part of the 2nd Annual MOONLIGHT 5K and Dolphin Dash. The MOONLIGHT 5K is a community 5K along the Spessard Holland Golf Course on the evening of Friday, MAY 3rd, 2024. Join us for a professionally timed 5K race complete with prizes, medals, and t-shirts for all runners! In addition, the DOLPHIN DASH one-mile race will provide our youngest runners with a chance to join in the fun with their friends, along to the cool beats of the DJ on the golf course. You can't beat the ambiance of this race when nestled between the beauty of the setting sun on the river and the glow of the rising moon on the oceanside.
This event is hosted by Coastal Community School, established in May 2014, when a small group of families prayed together, trusted God, and founded a new innovative, alternative way to educate children in Satellite Beach, Florida. Coastal Community School is a hybrid, Christian school combining on campus and in-home faith-based education. At CCS, we have a passion for serving our local community and have partnered with Spessard Holland Golf Course and the town of Melbourne Beach to provide a fun family fundraising event for our community. Coastal Community School is thrilled to host the 2nd Annual Moonlight 5K and Dolphin Dash at Spessard Holland Golf Course on Friday, May 3rd, 2024. Come experience a unique golf course run enjoying both a spectacular sunset along the Indian River and the rising full moon over the ocean all in one race! This inaugural community event will include a Moonlight 5K and a 1-mile Kids Run.
Come dressed in your best GLOW in the DARK accessories and outfits! We will be awarding prizes for the most creative glow in the dark/Cinco de Mayo themed outfits both individually or as a group! AND to take this event to the highest FUN level….it just happens to also be CINCO de MAYO!! Cinco de Mayo themed food and beverages are available for purchase!

Each participant will receive a custom designed T-shirt, a medal, race bib and a swag bag. (Note: Registrations submitted after April 7th will not be guaranteed preferred t-shirt size.)
The professionally timed Moonlight 5K will award medals to the first place male & female finisher in each category.
