Integrating God’s truth into each subject, our middle school curriculum provides students with a firm grasp of the fundamentals and challenges them to further develop their critical thinking skills.
Middle school at CCS is a great opportunity for students to develop their passions while also exploring new opportunities. They will continue to build on the foundations laid in the elementary program where collaboration, creativity and critical thinking are promoted. Students will also have the opportunity to develop their public speaking and writing skills through oral and written presentations in multiple subjects.
Students in 6th through 8th grades attend classes on campus Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays including opportunities for academic field trips and off-site learning. Students are responsible for completing the out-of-class assignments on their own time, with the counsel and supervision of parents. This structure encourages the development of good time-management and self-discipline, and therefore provides excellent preparation for advanced education.
